The LeBron James of Gas Station Employees If there were an MVP trophy for gas stations, Alyssa would be hoisting it every shift. I’ve been to a lot of gas stations—some good, some tragic—but none like this one since Alyssa’s been on duty. The second you walk in, it’s like customer service heaven. She greets everyone with that “I actually care” tone that 99% of retail workers lost back in 2020. The coffee? Fresh. The receipt paper? Never jammed. The floors? You could eat off them (though I wouldn’t recommend it because she just mopped). She remembered my usual order—20 on pump 3 and a blueberry Red Bull—after one visit. Who does that? A legend, that’s who. Even when someone came in complaining that the air pump “ate their dollar,” Alyssa handled it like a seasoned diplomat. Calm, professional, maybe even a little majestic. I don’t know what corporate’s paying her, but it’s not enough. She’s single-handedly raising the national average for gas station morale. Verdict: Alyssa deserves a raise, her own brand of coffee, and possibly a statue out front.

I'm a regular at Marathon on Sherman almost daily. There are other gas stations closer but they don't have Alyssa, Tony, Cory,Andrew, Renee or Darius or any of the other awesome employees that have become friends. Great products and great service.

The employees are the best hands down! I don’t like going anywhere else honestly. The stores always clean and Sherman is so friendly and welcoming. Keep up the good work everyone all shifts too

On Black Friday I purchased gift cards for our two vehicles and came into the Quality on Sherman in Muskegon to have them loaded onto our accounts. Renee was very helpful and took care of it. For some reason they didn’t show up on my wife’s account, but we didn’t find out until her previous cards expired in February. So I came back in to see what could be done, and Renee remembered me! She took care of the problem and showed me the computer screen to verify. Renee is awesome!

It’s refreshing to see someone take pride in providing good customer service. He represents this business very well.

A simple visit turned into something I won’t forget. Drake I believe was at the register and I was looking at which ghost energy drinks I should get. He recommended a certain flavor and it turned into a whole conversation so I bought the others he recommended instead of just the one. I think I made a new friend and will be back. Highly recommend going here for any convince store / car wash needs.

I get the unlimited wash package each month to try to limit the road salt build up beneath my SUV. I also stop in the store early mornings on my way to work. Cathy and Renee are always helpful and pleasant, even address me by name whether im purchasing lottery tickets or simply a drink. Thanx, ladies for friendly service and a smile.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Five-Star Review I want to give major compliments to this Quality Car Wash & Gas Station for their outstanding customer service and attention to detail. Every time I visit, the staff is friendly and helpful — especially Kathy. She goes out of her way to make sure customers are taken care of and she always brings positive energy to the place. On top of that, this location is spotless. I’m not exaggerating when I say it makes a hospital look dirty. The level of cleanliness and organization here should be the new standard for gas stations everywhere. It’s honestly refreshing to pull up to a place that takes pride in both how they treat customers and how they maintain their business. Highly recommend — keep up the great work!
